Her works often function like fragments of a larger story, with some pieces becoming clues in a broader narrative that explores uncertain yet possible futures. Working with clay, sand, wax, and metal, Ángela exposes her sculptures and installations to processes of change: they soften, melt, harden, and vibrate. As a result, she is particularly drawn to creating a sense of strangeness, leaving the viewer with the impression that something has happened or is about to happen.
