Shopping as a guest

What does it mean to shop as a guest?

Purchases made in the online store and through some electronic devices in Massimo Dutti's physical stores enable shopping as a guest, i.e. without the need to create an account or log in with a registered user. In this type of purchase, only the data required to process the order will be requested.


How can I check the status of my order?

Once your order has been confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with all the details of your purchase. In this email you will get access to check the status of your order at any time.


How can I get a receipt?

By means of the confirmation email you receive after shopping as a guest, you will be able to access the page with the option to download your receipt.


How can I return an order?

Returns can be processed either in the physical store by presenting the order confirmation email, or online, following the usual return flow available to any user. Please note that shopping as a guest does not allow you to make changes to your order once it has been confirmed, nor does it allow you to exchange items online in markets where this service is available.


How can I get an invoice for an order?

When shopping as a guest you will have the option to request your invoice by entering the relevant tax data and you will receive it by e-mail. If you did not select this option while shopping, you may request your invoice at a later date by contacting our Customer Service team, providing your order number and the required details to issue it.


Can I link my guest order to a registered user account?

Orders placed as a guest cannot be currently linked to a registered user account. This feature will be available soon.


What can I do if I can't find my order confirmation email?

If you have shopped as a guest and you cannot find your order confirmation email, please follow these steps before contacting our Customer Service team: Wait at least 1 hour from completing your purchase. In some cases, email delivery may be delayed. Make sure that you are checking the same email address you entered during the checkout process. Check all your mail folders, especially the "spam" folder. If after these checks you still cannot locate your confirmation email, please contact our Customer Service team, preferably via Whatsapp, where we can help you verify your order.
